  • Narrative: The player embodies a character inspired by Crocodile Dundee, a rugged adventurer, on a quest to survive the harsh Australian outback and uncover ancient artifacts hidden behind a locked gate.

  • Core Mechanics: Platforming (jumping, dodging), puzzle-solving (using items like steak and boomerang), and survival (avoiding wildlife hazards).

  • Objective: Navigate through treacherous outback levels, overcoming obstacles and enemies, to reach and unlock gates that lead to new areas

INSPIRATION

I was inspired by Super Mario level designs for their creative platforming and puzzle-solving.

I chose the outback as I went on holiday to Mungo, where the oldest human remains in Australia were found, and got inspired by the environment there.

I love Crocodile Dundee, so I combined the two inspirations and came up with this idea and design.
